Overview

Hurricane Katrina changed the landscape of public education forever. Fortunately, our model for helping students enables us to work with schools under any management structure. We are privileged to work with the Recovery School District and independent public charter schools. We believe that our community has valuable resources that can be connected with schools to help those students successfully learn, stay in school, and prepare for life.

Each year, we see students and families in our partner schools face a number of challenges that can prevent kids from succeeding in school. YOUR support enables CIS New Orleans to help these students and families overcome obstacles and achieve success.
