Thirty-six Tulane students came to CIS Greater New Orleans' partner school, Benjamin Mays Preparatory Academy, this past Saturday. The students helped to organize some rooms and move boxes and furniture to their appropriate locations. This saved teachers from having to complete these tasks and it allowed them to focus on doing their main job-educating their students. The volunteers also helped to decorate the CIS room at Ben Mays. They created colorful bulletin boards with inspiring quotes. The students will feel much more welcomed in this room now when they go to their counseling sessions. Thank you Tulane for all of your hard work!
