24,000 Lutheran Youth and 12,000 Adults to Attend Youth Gathering In New Orleans

24,000 Lutheran Youth and 12,000 Adults from across the USA and the world will gather in New Orleans on July 22, 2009 to Change the World.

On July 20, CIS New Orleans will announce the outstanding gift that it will recieve from the Gathering on behalf of every public elementary school in New Orleans. In addition, we will celebrate this incredible volunteer event, which is an outstanding example of the type of volunteerism President Obama is advocating for with his United We Serve campaign.
